What a fabulous and fast paced Christmas this year! We were super busy up to the day of Christmas it felt like this year. My parents, my brother, my grandmother and Nathan's parents came in for Christmas which is always so much fun when we are all together. It was so nice having everyone here. I think the girls had a pretty good Christmas as they were spoiled once again by Santa and his helpers. That's okay, they are pretty good girls!

Taylor has been in ballet for the last year and a half. This fall she was able to be in the the Ballet Academy of Texas' (where she takes ballet) production of the Nutcracker. She absolutely loved being an angel in the Nutcracker. She was in two performances the first weekend of December. We only watched her second performance which was very well done. I was expecting it to be more like a ballet recital, not like a Broadway production of the Nutcracker. I was super impressed and we all thoroughly enjoyed it. Taylor was so cute and did great. She did stop in the middle of her routine and hike up her panty hose though (totally obvious), it just made us giggle a little bit. When we saw her after the show, she kept telling us how she wanted to be a clown next year and a sugar plum fairy. Sadly, she has decided to stop ballet and pursue soccer and dance. We are sad she is stopping ballet, but super happy she is picking up soccer! She loves to dance, so I know she will enjoy a hip hop dance class more than ballet.

Taylor had the genius idea to have a surprise glow stick party for Poppy's birthday. We went to Wal-Mart and got a ton of glow sticks, glow masks, glow necklaces, glow swords and glow wands. We had a blast dancing around in the dark with all our glow gear. Much to our surprise, the pictures turned out awesome! I highly recommend having a glow party - it's cheap and super fun!

Taylor and Zoey had a blast going trick or treating this year. Zoey enjoyed watching Taylor run from house to house getting candy and announcing at the top of her lungs what she just scored in her treat bag. Zoey was a turtle for Halloween and Taylor was Twilight Sparkle, a My Little Pony.
