Fall Fest at KDO

Thursday night was the Fall Fest at Taylors preschool. She dressed up as Twilight Sparkle the My Little Pony and Zoey was a Turtle. I worked a Scentsy booth at the Fall Fest for Taylors preschool fundraiser which starts in two weeks.  The girls loved getting to wear their Halloween costumes.  Taylor did get to show Nathan her class room and to meet her teachers. She loves school so much!

Zoeys First Birthday family party

Saturday night after Sea World we all went back to the hotel and celebrated Zoeys birthday with cake, ice cream and presents.  She loved her cake and ice cream and Taylor helped her open her presents. It was a nice first birthday and she still got a party!

Zoeys First Birthday weekend at Sea World

We spent Zoeys First Birthday at Sea World in San Antonio.   Nathan talked me out of a big party at home and doing a mini vacation instead. It was so hard not planning a party, but it sure was nice getting away and spending time with our whole family. Zoey and Taylor had a blast seeing all the animals at Sea World and riding rides. Taylor got to feed the dolphins, get splashed by a whale, ride rollercoasters and watch animal shows.  Zoey got to ride her first ride in the Seasame Street kids area. It was a wonderful day with the family and Zoey seemed to enjoy her birthday.

Zoey's First Birthday weekend in San Antonio

We spent the Friday before Zoey's birthday in San Antonio on the Riverwalk. My parents and brother met us there for the day. We ate, shopped and saw the Alamo.  My mom and I were trying to explain what the Alamo was and the story behind it to Taylor.  The other day, Taylor asked me about the Alamo again and asked "why didn't the Mexicans just ask us nicely for it?"  Don't you love a childs innocense!?!

Pumpkin Patch

Taylor's preschool class went to the pumpkin patch last week. Zoey and I got to chaperon the field trip and we both loved it!  The kids learned about pumpkins, did a scavenger hunt in the pumpkin patch, ran relay races and read Halloween stories.
