Taylor had show and tell at school last Wednesday. They had to bring something that started with the letter "A". Taylor took her American Girl Doll for show and tell.  On Thursday, we met Taylor's cousin Berkeley at the American Girl Doll store for her birthday lunch. Berkeley, her mom and her grandmother flew in from Odessa for the day to celebrate Berkeley's 6th birthday. We had a wonderful time having lunch with them and then doing a little shopping at the galleria.

The girls at the St. Ann's Carnival

Taylor's first rollercoaster - she chose the front seat. That's my girl!

She wanted to ride the bull again. She looked terrified the whole time, but when she got off she said she loved it!

Silly Zoey!

Taylor petting her snake. Why does she love snakes so much?

She held this snake for almost 10 minutes. We practically had to drag her out of the reptile petting zoo.

Taylor, Zoey and I did the cake walk. We didn't win, but Taylor tried again and won! She was so proud of herself!

Nathan and Zoey watching Taylor do the cake walk the second time.

Last Saturday we took the girls to the carnival here in Coppell that the Catholic church puts on every year. This was our first year to go. It seems like we are always out of town the weekends they have it.  Taylor got to ride tons of rides and loved every one of them. She got to play kiddy games, get her face painted, hold a snake and win a cake at the cake walk. We had a blast and the girls seemed to enjoy it. Zoey is such a trooper. She seems to enjoy doing everything we do and playing with all the prizes Taylor wins from playing the kiddy games.

First day of Pre-K

Today was Taylor's first day of Pre-Kindergarten at KDO.  She absolutely loves school and is so excited it finally started again.  She got a new lunchbox this year - think she likes her ladybug lunchbox?!  She had to show everyone on the way in to school this morning. She ran right in and started coloring with her friends. I'm so glad she loves school.

We had a wonderful weekend on the ranch. Taylor got to feed the horses every morning with Poppy and cruise around in her jeep.  We had lunch with Nathan's grandparents and extended family on Sunday. Charlotte and I went to see The Help on Sunday night while the guys babysat. That movie was incredible! Loved it!

Pre-Kindergarten Meet the Teacher

Thursday was Meet the Teacher for Taylor's Pre-K class.  Taylor was so excited to get to meet her two new teachers, Ms. Amy and Ms. Kim.  The majority of the kids in her Pre-K class were in her class last year and even on of her friends from our ECPTA playgroup is in her class.

Fort Worth Zoo

I took the girls to the Fort Worth Zoo last Wednesday. We got there right when it opened and it there were barely any people there. It was so nice!  Taylor had a great time seeing all the animals. Zoey cracked me up. When she would notice the animals moving, she would squeal and laugh. The exhibits where the animals were just laying around, she didn't seem to notice them at all.

Princess Craft at the Disney Store

We took Princess Taylor to a Royal Princess Craft activity at the Disney Store. They made their own princess and wrote a story about their princess.
