Thursday, June 4th, our church held a safety meeting/scenario event to train the church congregation and the local police, firemen, and the EMTs. We got to play victims or be in the congregation. It was awesome! They played different scenarios including, a disruptive congregation member, a gunman in the church shooting people and then a bomb in the youth center. It was great watching them react to the scenarios and then getting to play a gunshot victim several times. Angie, Courtney, Jessica and I had way too much fun with the whole acting things. I can't even tell you how many times we got to play the victims so the firemen would carry us out of the church. The police, firemen and EMTs were good sports with us girls. After the event, we talked the firemen into taking us for a ride in the fire truck. Okay, that was the coolest part. We got to sit in the truck, wear the headphones to talk to each other, and wear the firemens hats. So fun! They just took us for a ride around the church, but we had a great time. We were like giddy teenagers the whole time.

I'm not so believable as a victim with that stupid smile on my face!

Us on the front of the fire truck - the firemen were awesome to us!
