Birthday girl!! (my mom made her dress)
Happy Birthday BABY!!!! My baby is not a baby anymore! Both sets of Grandparents came in Friday and helped make and ice all 170+ cupcakes and two cakes for Taylor's birthday party. Saturday we had Taylor's 2nd birthday party here at the house with all her friends. The theme was CUPCAKES and boy did we have cupcakes! The kids arrived and played with all the balloons we had blown up in the living room. It is amazing to see how much fun kids can have playing in a sea of balloons. We had all the kids go outside on the new patio and sit at the tables so we could sing happy birthday to Taylor. I brought out her enormous cupcake cake and we all started to sing happy birthday to her. To our surprise, Taylor burst into tears and cried the entire time we sang happy birthday to her! It was so sad. After the singing, we handed out aprons to all the kids, brought out un-iced cupcakes for all the kids and then brought out bowls of frosting and toppings. The kids new exactly what to do - they dug right in and began decorating their cupcake. We let them decorate 2 or 3 cupcakes and they seemed to enjoy it. Some kids got more messy than others, but I think they all had a good time. Taylor had a blast - the evidence was all over her face! She bi passed the cupcake half the time and the icing went straight into her mouth along with spoonfuls of toppings!

Taylor had a great time playing with her friends and making cupcakes with them. She was pretty wound up after her party, so we opened presents and then went to lunch. After lunch, we got Taylor to take a little nap and then we went to Grapevine to do some wine tasting. Ashley and Brooks went with us to De Vine Wine on Main Street in Grapevine. Taylor was hungry while we were there, so ordered her a cheese and fruit plate. We didn't know this would come back to haunt us.
