Saturday we spent the day down in Ennis watching the drag races. It was the first time I had ever been to these kind of races and it was a first for Taylor too, of course. Our friend Brian drives a funny car, Nathan's cousins from Odessa drive a dragster and his other cousins and Uncle from Odessa drive a dragster. It rained part of the day so the races were delayed for several hours. It was nice getting to spend time with Nathan's family that we usually only get to see once a year at the family Christmas party.

Taylor loved the races and has been asking for a pink race car ever since!
