Last week run down

I have been doing a horrible job keeping up with my blog lately....sorry. Here is a run down of last week:

Monday: took the day off to rest and had zero time to rest. Had to get my Chez Ami trunk repacked and shipped out to the next consultant. Then I went to lunch with Crystal and Somang and on the way home got a call from work. Went home and worked for 2 hours before going to the Orthopedist. The doctor doesn't think my foot is broken and wants to get an MRI. Went straight from the Orthopedist to the Chiropractor.

Wednesday: Went up the church to sign Taylor up for KDO (Kids Day Out). They opened up a one-day spot on Wednesdays - I am so excited she gets to go to school. Then we went to the Early Childhood PTA membership drive. At the membership drive they had a bounce house, face painting, and balloon animals. Taylor jumped in the bounce house for approximately 2 minutes and was ready to move on. She got a balloon dog on a leash that she absolutely loved! It was so funny watching her 'walk' the dog on the leash. She couldn't wait for Nathan to get home that day so she could show him.

Friday: Dinner with the Huskeys and Taylors at 7 Salsa for social. After dinner we went to the concert in the park series that Coppell has been putting on at Town Center. Friday night was the last night of the concert series and it was swing music. The kids ran around and danced while we all sat on blankets and relaxed. The music was wonderful and the kids seemed to love it!

Saturday: Nathan spent the morning at the Coppell community garden helping some of the men from church build a new shed for the community garden. The community garden is worked by residents of Coppell and then all of the food is given to a charity for the needy. Nathan and I thought about helping out there, but since we both have black thumbs, we figured we better not attempt it. We did some grocery shopping Saturday afternoon and then I went to the Divine Consign presale in Grapevine.

Mom and Dad got home safely from their 3 week trip to Eastern Europe Saturday. They went to Turkey first and then met up with my brother Zach in Moldova. Zach is currently stationed in Moldova working at the US Embassy as a diplomat in training. Zach took some time off and took mom and dad to Romania and some other countries (can't remember the names right now). I'm just glad they got home safely.
