I am really wanting to start some traditions with our family this year. We have one tradition where we play a game on Christmas eve, but other than that, we don't have any other traditions. My mom bought us a gingerbread house kit to make the day after Thanksgiving, but we didn't want to carry home the gingerbread house. We are searching for new traditions to start with Taylor. I did buy us matching pjs to wear Christmas morning, and let me tell you, Nathan is not very excited about it! He did agree to wear them though - he is such a good husband!
If yall have any Christmas traditions or ideas you wouldn't mind sharing with us, please post a comment or email them to me. Thanks and Merry Christmas!
I just read a friends blog and she had the same post. One idea she had posted was to do a Happy Birthday Jesus Party. On Christmas day you make a birthday cake and have a mini party to celebrate Jesus birthday. What a wonderful idea!

come on nathan - wear the Christmas pj's! at least katie isn't making you take your picture in them and sending it in your Christmas card to all of you ol' college buddies! i did that to kendall when grayson was two. remind me to show you how cute we were all piled on the bed with our Christmas pajamas!!
okay - i should have posted after i read the whole blog. we have celebrated Jesus' birthday with hats, cake and candles every year on Christmas eve. sometimes i buy the cake, sometimes we make it. but we have balloons and everything. then Kendall reads the Christmas story out of the Bible. next the kids get to open their Christmas pj's and then after we celebrate, we put on a Christmas movie and gorge on birthday cake and popcorn!
Ask Courtney about her family's tradition. We've started to do it at our house, its a little cheesy, but we love it. She has a script and everything! Merry Christmas Theaux's!
